Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive technology, has strong problem-solving skills.
This role involves hands-on work with cars and trucks, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
•Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
•Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, and exhaust systems.
•Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate estimates for repairs.
•Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality control.
•Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and shop standards.
•Communicate effectively with team members about repair needs and progress.
•Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices through training.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic (2+ years preferred).
• ASE certification or equivalent (e.g., in brakes, suspension, electrical systems) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various positions.
• High school diploma or GED; technical school training is advantageous.
• Automatic & Standard Transmission experience is a plus.

Compensation: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
